The Congress was held in Guarujá-SP, Brazil, between the 24th and 27th of September. Over 1000 veterinary delegates from around the world attended and were able to choose lectures from a comprehensive program.

Brazil was a most attractive venue for the Congress. The organizational skills available, headed by Dr. Raquel Baccarin, ensured success of the meeting. Brazil is unique for it's richness of nature, culture, economy and history. Beaches, forests, mountains, rivers, festivals, diversified cuisine, national parks, and historical towns are scattered among 26 states and the Federal District.

The racial mixture has generated a nation of happy, sharing people, a country where all come together under their differences and diversity, in an environment of peaceful coexistence, a country for everyone.
